Memphis to Helena

A 4-7 day epic paddle in a voyageur canoe

Water consumption levels: 4 to 7 days with icons indicating low, moderate, and high water usage, and groups for families and all ages.

This Big River journey starts at Mud Island, in Memphis Tennessee.

As the guides pack the canoes, check out the to-scale model of the Lower Mississippi River just a 2-minute walk away! Once on the water, paddlers will have the pleasure of paddling under the historic three bridges of Memphis. After this, the sojourn begins.

Group of people sitting in chairs on sandy beach near river, some looking at phones, one standing and talking, others reading or taking photos, with bright sunlight and clear blue sky.

Incredible memories are waiting for you…

Sunset over a river with textured clouds reflecting on the water, creating a serene and colorful landscape.

Pass through miles of remote wilderness with beavers and herons as your neighbors. Enjoy nights under big skies or nestled in willow forests. Take your time to get in tune with the River and your natural circadian rhythms. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets with friends, and swapping stories over an open fire.

The journey comes to an end passing Buck Island, with views of the Helena Bridge.
