What to Pack
We’ll provide the canoes, outfitting, life jackets, paddles, safety gear, and dry bags if needed. From there, you’ll want the following essentials for your comfort and safety:
Clothing & layers suited to weather
Water bottle (we supply 5-gallon jugs of fresh water on each trip, so bring your personal water bottle for refills)
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Footwear that can get wet or muddy
Personal items and toiletries
Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad (for overnight/multi-day trips)
Optional extras: snacks, camera, binoculars, journal, towel, etc.
Because most of our camping is primitive — no bathrooms or showers — bring everything you need for whichever trip you choose.
For overnight trips, we prepare all meals and pack cookware and eating utensils, chairs, and camp tables. If you want additional snacks, feel free to pack some in your dry bag!
Once you sign up for a trip, we can send a more comprehensive list of what to pack and expect on the river (especially for overnights). Shoot us a line if you have any questions!
