Tunica to Helena
A 2-3 day trip voyageur canoe paddle
Hop aboard the Big Canoe and into the wilderness for this scenic trip.
We will begin at the Tunica River Park, a River Museum with historical exhibits and an aquarium too!
From there begins a 37-mile downstream adventure through the Whiskey Chute, Walnut Bend, and miles of beaver, bald eagle, and coyote habitat.

At the end of your journey you are greeted with the Helena Bridge, the only bridge between Memphis,TN and Greenville, MS
Experience required: None! This trip is open to everybody.

Exit the river 2 or 3 days later at Helena Bridge

We’ll pack a 5-gal jug of water to refill your personal water bottles.

Dress appropriately for weather. Wear shoes that can get muddy and wet (or go barefoot).

Quapaw Canoe Company can provide lunches, dinners, and breakfasts upon request for an additional fee/day. Meals are cooked fresh on an open fire.
• Breakfast options include eggs and bacon, our famous “Tower Rock Crunch” oatmeal, plenty of fresh fruit, and Cowboy Coffee
• Lunch is Sandbar Smorgasbord
• Dinners vary by preference - Blackened Salmon, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Spanish Garlic Chicken, and Raft Potatoes just to name a few!
